systems.
FABA's simple, yet superior design is quickly placing older technologies on the endangered species list for industrial applications. And with
good reason: FABA offers tremendous flexibility and advantages you won't find anywhere else.
Safety
Designed to ensure maximum protection against accidental electrical contact, the conductor rail system is enclosed in impact-resistant PVC
housing which is non-flammable and chemically resistant against most volatile materials. The system provides further security through the use
of sturdy plastic hangers and collector arm components. Plus, conductor rails are available in different colors to provide visual identification
of power, ground, neutral, communications and other pathways for safe and efficient trouble-shooting. FABA meets European safety standards for
finger-safe construction.
Reliability
FABA's specially designed, compression spring-loaded collector shoes won't jump out of the rails as other designs allow. This ensures continuous
electrical contact and maximum load control. FABA also provides reliable performance in both indoor and outdoor applications. And, since FABA
does not require chains, belts, or other moving parts, it virtually eliminates the need for maintenance. Even our collector shoes can provide
thousands of hours of use before replacement is required.
Flexibility
FABA is designed to work with systems of all types for continuous flow production, such as monorails, workstations, automated systems and more.
Installation is easy, with parts that fit together in a simple, intuitive way. FABA provides flexibility; taking power up, down, under, over,
around- wherever it's needed in virtually any direction, level, or work area imaginable. FABA use ranges from carrier only applications to part
of a fully automated, computer controlled system managing multiple workloads simultaneously.
FABA 100 Design Features
• Conductor bar is enclosed in an impact resistant PVC housing

• Maximum traveling speed of 1312 ft/min (400m/min)
• Standard conductor bar rated for -30oC to +55oC ambient operating environments. (High temperature
conductor bar for up to 80oC is available on a special order basis.)

ELECTROBAR 8-Bar Enclosed Conductor Bar Systems are the practical, proven and economical way to deliver electricity to overhead cranes,
hoists, monorails and other types of moving equipment.
Whether you need to power for a simple top running applications or a curved monorail Electrobar 8-Bar Enclosed Conductor Bar System is the solution.
• Assembles easily and can be mounted either vertically or horizontally
• Figure-8 Design allows you to use it interchangeably with common bottom-entry 8-bar systems
• Available for 90, 110 and 350 Amp applications
• Cover options available for high temperature environments
• De-icing system available for low temperature applications
• Collector assemblies feature: corrosion resistant pivot pins; impact-resistant, universally interchangeable

• Conductor sections are roll-formed galvanized steel in 90 and 110 amp ratings, and copper in the 350

| ELECTROBAR® Elite Conductor Bar System |
Magnetek proudly offers ELECTROBAR Elite, our most advanced conductor bar system.
The collector trolley and conductors are captured inside the line element extrusion and can't be disengaged. The collector trolley is advanced
with a chain which tolerates large movements lateral to the direction of motion. The system is simple to install, with only one "stick"
to hang and align.
Lower Total System Cost - Easy to Install and Maintain
• Electrobar Elite reduces installation time when compared with traditional conductor bar systems. Maintenance
requirements are minimized, providing lower installation and lifetime maintenance costs.
• System components are lightweight and rigid, allowing a single person to assemble the system.
• Line elements are easily slipped into the snap-in hangers, which mount with one threaded rod to the hanger
bracket. Joint covers, power feeds and end caps simply snap together over the line elements. Much of the
assembly is done by hand, using a minimum number of tools.
• Line elements are connected with torque limiting bolts whose heads twist off when enough torque has been
applied. This assures proper connection of conductors with smooth transitions from section to section for the
collector brushes.
• Collector brushes are normally serviced by removing the trolley from the end of the system.The brushes are
easy to remove and put back into the trolley, allowing a rapid return to service after maintenance. The collector
assembly can only be put back into the line element in one orientation, preventing cross connecting power and
ground.
Maximum Versatility
• Compact design allows installation in tight spaces where other systems will not fit.
• No expansion joints are required in systems under 460 feet.
• Low friction collectors ease movement of workstation bridge cranes.
• IP23 rated so it is finger safe and resistant to rain at up to a 60 degree angle from vertical.
• Rubber dust exclusion strips are available to minimize contamination of conductors through the line element
trolley gap.
• High speed collectors available for speeds exceeding 325 fpm. High temperature line elements available for
temperatures above 55oC to 75oC.
• Curved elements available with minimum 32" radius.
• Ventilated line elements prevent condensation build up.
• Trolley introduction gates ease maintenance of collector trolleys when three or more bridges are used on a
single crane runway.
